Solidarity economy events in Europe
Dear all,
We are pleased to invite you to the next Fair Trade International Symposium. The Fair Trade International Symposium (FTIS) is the leading global gathering for scholars, practitioners and policymakers working on Fair Trade.
The event will be hosted by the University of Leeds and will take place between the 19 and 21 of June 2023. Workshops and panels will be held in person around the theme 'Fair Trade Connections,' with some online and hybrid sessions to allow for maximum participation.
It will be the opportunity to discuss how Fair Trade influences and supports other complementary movements, organisations, and activities. But also, how can complementary movements and activities in the South and North benefit Fair Trade thinking and practice? How can we make new connections, and what opportunities exist to extend and reimagine existing ones?
More information on how to get involved will be available soon. In the meantime, you can visit the dedicated page on our website and send your enquiries in English to Anne Tallontire a.m.tallontire@leeds.ac.uk or in French to Ivan Dufeu ivan.dufeu@univ-angers.fr.
