Our Projects

Long term activities are normally based on funded projects, which allow the planning and consistent work shared by members of the network who participate in collaborative partnerships, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Past project have mainly been supported through programmes of the European Commission such as the Erasmus+ ones.  Some have received support by private foundations.
New projects can be proposed by member organisations and include non member organisations, so long as they abide by the general Social Solidarity Economy principles and practices – and are in line with the networks strategic orientations.

Below you can find current and past projects, categorized based on four thematics, Care, Youth, Territorial Cooperation and Education & Research

C A R E

Care refers to all necessary activities to ensure the well-being and reproduction of life, both individually and collectively, in an inclusive, equitable and sustainable way. In this framework, care is considered a common good that must be managed collectively, moving away from commoditized or individualistic approaches. Through solidarity economy networks, cooperatives and other alternative models, the SSE seeks to transform power relations around care, establishing fairer and more equitable practices that strengthen community and social justice.

Y O U T H

From the SSE perspective, youth are seen as key actors for social transformation and for promoting alternative economic models oriented towards care, solidarity, social justice, environmental sustainability and cooperation. SSE values young people not only as beneficiaries, but as active agents of change, with a central role in the development of more equitable and sustainable societies.

T E R R I T O R I A L    C O O P E R A T I O N

Many people and structures cooperate at a territorial scale in urban and rural areas, through the mutualization of means, collective events, shared-places, collaborative cultural projects, or territorial  networks regrouping social & solidarity economy organizations. We experiment cooperative approaches for local development, that are creative, evolving, and innovative.

E D U C A T I O N    &    R E S E A R C H

Projects in Education & Research aim in affirming the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Europe through curricula innovation in Vocational and Educational Training and by creating a community of actors that will transmit the knowledge, the know-how and the tools created.
