Today within the Enercoop network, “shared governance” is infused gradually into everyday practices. But what is shared governance? The subject is vast but in a few words, it is an organizational method that allows people to work cooperatively on the basis of the so-called “collective intelligence”.

The principle of equivalence is essential, it implies that every person in the organization, regardless of their status, can bring “his/her voice”.  The notion of consent allows to make decisions that “respect the limitations of those who will have to live with them”, as the Université du Nous explains. This association accompanied Enercoop to make its first (large) step to shared governance.

Today “a circle” consisting of Enercoop employees continues this accompanying work on this exciting topic!
