The Red de Redes de Economía Alternativa y Solidaria (REAS) was created in 1995 to develop the Solidarity Economy in Spain. Its different lines of work are based on the principles and values of the Charter of the Solidarity Economy to act with respect and care for the environment, to promote a model of solidarity and collaboration, and to place people and their needs before profit or profitability.

For more than 25 years, we have been promoting an economy that puts people at the centre.

To celebrate these 25 years, Reas is launching a new website https://reas.red/ with information about the network itself, what networking means, its advocacy work and the development of tools to disseminate, deploy and share the Solidarity Economy beyond the network itself.
