INAISE (International Association of Investors in the Social Economy) organizes with the FOROLACFR (FORO Latino Americano y del Caribe de Finanzas Rurales) the second international Summit of solidarity finance on the theme “towards more economic justice” on 28-30 may in Oaxaca (Mexico). The overall objective of this Summit is to create a space for the efforts of international convergence on the ‘social and solidarity-based finance’ which will give visibility to the different practices of the “financing for development” encouraging the development of the social economy. Its specific objectives are: analyze the current issues of the social and solidarity economy and its implications for the development of social and solidarity finance markets, as well as their relationship with public policies; create greater cooperation between different regions of the world; develop a program that fosters the promotion of solidarity-based financial services for a more inclusive development.
