ESS France (the French Chamber for Social and Solidarity economy) organized on April 6 the ESS-France forum for the presidential elections 2017 in Paris to ask the candidates on the space of SSE in their programs and require ask them to take notice of the ESS France propositions gathered in the booklet Ce que nous voulons pour l’ESS (what we want for France)
As it is possible to see by reading the candidates intentions list (read the whole article here in French), for the first time, SSE is really part of the candidates programmes (at least the ones who came to the French Chamber invitation) with diverse orientations and engagement levels.
It is possible to say that there is much work to be done, after the presidential elections, there will be the legislatives and it is necessary to make SSE be part of the country economic software for a true paradigm change and the building of a more balanced society in its ways of production and consumption and the empowerment of its citizens.
