In the process for developing a local public policy that has a priority the solidarity economy, on October 22 and 23 the Secretariat of the cooperative social and solidarity economy of the Barcelona City Council has set up the international meeting on “Municipalism and solidarity economy”. Jean-Louis Laville and Jordi Estivill (RIPESS Europe Advisory Board members) have partecipated as well as Annie Berger (RTES) and members of the catalan network XES.
The meeting was aimed at facilitating the exchange of criteria, methodologies and interventions on this subject among the technical staff and politician from the city of Barcelona and other cities of Catalonia, as well as other members of the sector, starting from the experiences taking place in other countries including Italy, France and Quebec.
