Description
The second General Congress of RIPESS Europe, after the foundation in Barcellona, took place, on 5th and 6th of July in Lille in 2013. The Assembly gathered representatives from organizations of the European social and solidarity economy as well as political representatives from various countries. Among other outcomes, the Lille Assembly was a chance to bring forwards some key thematic axes on which various teams of RIPESS Europe have been working on: responsible consumption, popular education, state of the art of SSE in Europe, SSE and employment, perimeter and identity of SSE. Most of these themes represent areas of interest in which components of RIPESS Europe continue to be actively engaged.
