We are pleased to announce the launch of our new RIPESS Intercontinental website: ripess.org.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of our movement we decided to redesign our website to give you more complete and updated content on RIPESS and SSE, as well as easier navigation on our website.
Several sections have been revised to showcase the work of each continental network and the themes in which RIPESS is involved. We invite you to browse the new main sections of the website:
- Each RIPESS continental member now has its own page for sharing the main areas of work and actions: RAESS Africa, RIPESS LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean), RIPESS NA (North America), ASEC Asia, RIPESS EU (Europe), RIPESS Oceania.
- RIPESS focuses essentially on 8 themes. On each of these pages you will find an explanation of the main challenges, progress made by RIPESS, as well as many references: Global Vision on SSE, Mapping & panorama, The legal and institutional recognition of SSE, Education to SSE, Women & SSE, SDGs Agenda 2030, Food sovereignty, Social and solidarity finances
- An extensive presentation of RIPESS, describing our international meetings, our allies’ networks and our working groups.
- There is also an introductory section on Social Solidarity Economy in which we reproduce some of the elements of the Global Vision on SSE, one of the emblematic works of RIPESS at the international level.
To follow our intercontinental news on a specific continent or topic (or all of it!) you can just follow our new newsfeed and/or subscribe to our quarterly newsletter.
Finally, we hope that this collaborative work between all our members will strengthen dissemination and knowledge on ESS worldwide and encourage international exchange. The different SSE approaches and stages of development in the world clearly point to a promising future of sharing experiences, joint advocacy and cooperation that will strengthen the global SSE movement and contribute to the transformation of the present system.
