The You’Conomy project’s main goal is to promote active citizenship, a sense of initiative in young people and youth entrepreneurship, through the promotion of Ethical Finances.

Target
Young people from 18 to 30 years old belonging to universities, courses and groups of non-formal education partner organizations and “schools of activism”, volunteering and activism
Our goals
- Improving skills, awareness, civic engagement of small organisations in the framework of ecological transition and Social Solidarity Economy (SSE)
- Increasing the awareness of small organisations about local and EU level strategies and policies guiding development actions, enhancing their capacity to look up and know what happens around them for a bottom-up participation and an improved effectiveness in their own contexts
- Strengthening transnational networks among organisations working in similar fields, enhancing common approach, and implementing the cooperation in future project
How
You’conomy aims to raise the level of knowledge about Ethical Finances, the involvement on advocacy actions at local, regional and international levels, the use of non-formal education methods and the promotion of open digital tools. The project comprises several activities/tasks such as training and development activities, an e-learning course for youth self-organization, several Ethical Finances open days and a European Ethical Finances Day for young people. These converge in a major objective: the development of a training program earmarked at young people about activism, social transformation and self-organization, concerning Ethical Finances and Social Solidarity Economy.
