Solidarius Italia, CRIES and UFISC, in collaboration with RIPESS Europe are inviting you to participate to the “LOOKING UP TUESDAYS”, 9 online webinars from November 2024 to March 2025!

Erasmus+ project “LOOKING UP – A training path from experiences of local development towards European Social Solidarity Economy strategies!” is closely studying participatory local development from the perspective of social solidarity economy and within the framework of national and European policies supporting it.

From the perspectives of Italy, Romania and France and more broadly, three main topics will be discussed with theoretical approaches as well as case studies. A rich programme that will deal with different topics at the European level:

  • How to build community? How to build local and economic development from the community?
  • How artistic & cultural alternative places and ecological transition in urban contexts takes part in local democracy?
  • Urban-rural relationship: how to build resilient communities through short supply chains in the global food system?

1/ Networking and the development of solidarity and community economies in urban and rural areas, animated by Solidarius Italia with « Giardino dell’Ardiglione » and « Lofoio »

  • DECEMBER 3rd, 2024- Economies responding to community needs

2/ Local participatory development and ecological transition in cultural alternative urban places, animated by UFISC with « Le Shakirail » and « Les Poussières »

  • JANUARY 28th, 2025 – What are artistic & cultural alternative places?
  • FEBRUARY 4th, 2025 – How artistic & cultural alternative places take part in sustainable development?
  • FEBRUARY 11th, 2025 – How artistic & cultural projects contribute to local democracy?

3/ Urban-rural relations through foood and its supply chains, animated by CRIES with « Reciproc / Alimenterra » and « ASAT»

  • MARCH 11th, 2025- The global food system and its impact
  • MARCH 18th, 2025- Building resilient communities: the role of the short supply chains
  • MARCH 25th, 2025- Building strong local food systems: resources for short supply chains
