Local Futures has come out with two movies Closer to Home arguing for a global-to-local shift, and The Power of Local showing how people & groups are putting this into practise with regards to governance, community businesses & ownership, local food, local fishery, local energy, and education.
In both movies several RIPESS members have been given the opportunity to tell about the envisioning of Solidarity economy building and of its building towards systemic change. The movies are planned to be translated and subtitled.
