RIPESS Europe is a member of RIPESS intercontinental. RIPESS Europe held its last general meeting at the Bergerie 6 and 7 June 2014, with the support of the Foundation for Human Progress.
The two-day event was an opportunity to discuss the role and strategies of the European network after the European Parliament elections. New participants to the network, from Greece and Poland presented the situation of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in their country.
The workshops helped to advance the ongoing work on the State of the Art and the identity/perimeter of the SSE. The General Assembly was a chance to set a work-agenda. It was decided, for instance, that the meetings of the Coordinating Committee in the various member countries can be an opportunity to meet the players of the SSE in their respective countries, advancing therefore the undertaken work.
