The Beyond Growth Conference, held at the Congress of Deputies, provided a space for democratic deliberation on a new economic model based on caring for people and the planet. It was a first step towards a new social pact that would help us overcome our economy’s dependence on economic growth and unequal global relations, and thus address the current eco-social crisis in its various dimensions, making a dignified life possible within planetary boundaries.
