Presentation by Ripess Intercontinental
Covid-19 pandemic has caused an unprecedented crisis around the world, with dramatic consequences for public health, the economy and society. Social and Sodality Economy (SSE) actors and networks reacted quickly and they are playing a key role in addressing and mitigating the short - and long -term impacts of the COVID-19 crisis. In the short term, SSE actors have helped the recovery by providing innovative solutions such as vital proximity health and social services including daycare, homecare for the elderly, collective health provision in many parts of the world, strengthening public services and complementing government action. Innovative solutions that are building an alternative development model, driven by the needs of all the peoples and communities of the world, and by the protection of our planet.
That is why Ripess Intercontinental launched the process of gathering some of these innovative solutions, which are shared in the following article.
From Ripess Europe, we are willing to continue the process in order to gather more initiatives from our members to share good practices and spread inspiration. We will relaunch the survey very soon, stay tuned! |
