This project aims to promote Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Europe, through the training of trainers in this specific field.
Striving for innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, we seek to contribute to the civic and professional development of people, through the integration of alternative socioeconomic models and practices to the traditional market economy in the curricula and teaching methodologies. It is bringing together organizations from various European countries and a European network (RIPESS Europe). It is co-funded by the EU Erasmus + program.
Duration of the project: September 2018 – August 2021

Our goals
SSEVET2 – Strengthening VET Trainers’ Competencies and Skills (2018-2021) – aims to contribute to innovation in vocational training programs, namely by the co-design and pilot of a Training in Action Course. The Training in Action aims to promote a process of learning through experience, practice and involving the VET trainers in SSE initiatives, moving us towards the creation of a Training Community.
How
Provide curricula to strengthen the skills of trainers in programmes to integrate young people without jobs or qualifications.
- Propose SSE as a social-cultural, interdisciplinary innovation that provides employment opportunities, especially for those furthest from it.
