Faced with the socio-health and ecological crisis,

Dear TOGETHER network members and partners,
We announced in the network’s letter of December 2019 the holding of the 4th international meeting of territories of co-responsibility in Porto and Cape Verde in November 2020. Unfortunately the extension of the Covid pandemic forces us to review our plans and we will have to carry out this 4th meeting online and not in physical presence in the same place. This does not only have drawbacks. Among the advantages there are savings in travel, but also greater flexibility in its realization.
Here is what was decided in agreement with the Management of TOGETHER.
The meeting will take place from October 31 to November 4 inclusive, i.e. five days during which online workshops will be organized leading to the General Assembly of the network on November 4, anniversary date of its formal creation and of the General Assembly of Braine l’Alleud.
Drawing lessons from the projects carried out which have produced many theoretical texts, certainly relevant, but still too few concrete changes, we propose to make this meeting the starting point of a new process within the TOGETHER network and its partners. This would mean creating a strong link between exchanges and reflections and field practices around a project that we would call: “together let’s learn to make the right choices”.
The idea is to offer any participant, individual or collective, to think about what the good choices would be for them or for them to ensure their well-being and that of all, including future generations, to put them into practice, communicate them on the WEB (wikispiral) and discuss the results obtained to draw lessons together, made available to all. This reflection and practice can be individual or collective, within a group or an institution, schools, local authorities, etc.
It would be an approach open to any initiative falling under the co-responsibility for the well-being of all or the well-being of all, beyond the SPIRAL approach alone.
